At GME Group we believe in using our skills to make a difference—not just for commercial businesses and social landlords, but in people’s lives. We’re proud to support Candlelighters, a charity dedicated to helping children and families affected by childhood cancer.

Recently, we were honoured to be asked by Candlelighters to help with a very special project: transforming a bedroom for a little girl with only weeks left to live. Her only request? A Hello Kitty themed room.

There was no time to waste. From the moment we got the call, our decorators and design team jumped into action. Within 48 hours, the entire project was designed, materials sourced, and the room fully transformed into a bright, beautiful Hello Kitty haven—just for her.

It was one of the most emotional and meaningful projects we've ever had the privilege to be part of. We're incredibly grateful to Candlelighters for trusting us, and even more thankful to have played a small role in bringing joy and comfort to a brave young girl and her family.

We’ll continue to support Candlelighters in any way we can—because this is more than decoration. It’s about dignity, compassion, and creating moments that matter.
