GME Team Take the Leap for The Prince of Wales Hospice

At GME Group, giving back to our community is at the heart of what we do, and this month, our incredible team proved just how far (or high!) we’re willing to go for a good cause.

A group of our brave colleagues took part in a 160-foot abseil down Wakefield Cathedral, all in support of The Prince of Wales Hospice, a local charity providing essential care and support to children and families facing life-limiting illnesses.

In true GME spirit, the whole team rallied behind the challenge, and thanks to the amazing generosity of colleagues, friends, and clients, we raised over £2,000 in under two weeks. These funds will go directly toward helping the hospice continue delivering its compassionate care and vital services to children and families across the region.

The event brought together staff from across the business, showcasing our shared commitment to teamwork, community, and courage — values that define GME both on and off site.

A huge well done to everyone who took part and helped make a real difference.
