Recently, our team restored the interior of a church in Leeds. Being an old building, there was a lot of wear and tear and chipped paintwork. However, this wasn’t an issue for us as we often need to make adjustments and restorations before we can begin decorating.
For this project, we were set with the task of creating a fresh, new look for the church. Using high-quality, long-lasting paints, we were to create a warm, inviting place for the community. Choosing colours appropriate to the setting, we began preparing the walls and doors for their fresh coat.
To prepare the walls and doors, we filled in any holes and cracks before preparing them to create smooth surfaces. Our commercial decorators use a high-quality primer for all our projects, to ensure the longevity of paintwork whilst preventing patchiness and chipping.
Once all walls were prepped, we began painting. As the church is a popular community attraction, we understood the need for quality under a tight timescale. This wasn’t an issue for us, as working to short deadlines is something we deal with regularly. Once completed, the community were more than happy with our services. The church now looks brand new from the interior, whilst still retaining its stunning, old exterior.
