Roberts Park is a well-known and loved attraction in the Bradford area. Open to the public for many decades, the park has won awards for its fantastic design and welcoming features and is often used throughout the summer months for concerts. Bradford is home to a number of residents, all who enjoy visiting the park on a regular basis – which is why maintenance and keeping it looking fresh and clean is important.
For this project, we were tasked with restoring the paintwork on a bandstand upon the half-moon pavilion. We used a rich coat of high-quality red paint on the pillars and detailed the sun flowers spiralling down with yellow and green. The paints we used have a long-lasting, durable finish which will allow the bandstand to look new for a long time.
Once we had completed this, we then began to tidy up the paintwork around the park on bins and transformers, again using our durable paints to resist the unpredictable British weather conditions. As always, we ensured all work was completed to the highest of standards.
Due to the location of the project, we were able to access the park quickly and easily. This allowed us to work around a schedule which avoided causing too much obstruction for locals and visitors. We are always keen to get involved in community projects which is why we have a number of on-going contracts with city councils, which require us to carry out regular maintenance on public areas like this.
